Jenna Matuszczak, PTA

Having been involved in sports since the age of four, transitioning into a medical field that specializes in movement was a natural path for me. My background in athletics gave me firsthand understanding of the crucial role that exercise, movement, and endurance play in overall health and performance. I completed 16 weeks of clinical rotations within the Jefferson and Lewis areas, where I gained valuable experience. My first two clinicals I worked beside other Physical Therapist and Assistants in a Out-Patient setting. My last clinical rotation I worked beside Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists, with children ranging from 0-18 years, providing services for Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Genetic Disorders, Birth Defects, Neurological Disorders, Sport Injuries, and Muscle Disease. I have been employed here at Journey since July of 2022 after completion of my college degree requirements and state licensing exam. I am passionate about providing quality care to patients of all ages, and helping them restore and optimize their physical capabilities. Outside of the workplace, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and staying active with my two dogs Kai and Sadie.
