Nora Edmonds, Professional Greeter
Hi. My name is Nora “girl” Ann Edmonds. I am an English Cream purebred Golden Retriever. I live with my humans, Emmalee and Dylan, in Croghan, NY. Although I have retriever in my name, I don’t really enjoy running or fetching. I would much rather go for a swim or walk through the woods at my own pace. Some call it lazy, I call it relaxing. Since I was just a pup, my mom and dad have always told me that I am very well-behaved, easily trainable, and have a gentle soul. Considering they did all my training with me; I would have to agree. Because I have good manners, I listen well, and I am very comforting, my parents got me a job working alongside mom at Journey Physical Therapy, PLLC. I started working here in October of 2025. Being around walkers with tennis balls attached to their legs was really hard at first but now I barely notice them. Typically, I am only here one day a week because working is exhausting and I enjoy my alone time at home. I mostly work on Fridays but sometimes other days of the week depending on my mom’s schedule, as I cannot drive. Now some of you may think this is dog labor but I do get paid in belly rubs, ear scratches, and smooches. I really do love seeing patients. I always know how to put a smile on their face even if they’re in pain. They tell me I am a good distraction during exercise! I don’t even know what that means but I think it means I’m a good girl!
